Nascar at circuit de villeneuve
nascar goes to montreal
given the absence of F1 and CART they have signed Nascar to run in montreal.
guess we'll get a chance to see how well they turn right on a flat track.
the hairpin will be a hoot.

Did you not notice? NASCAR ran there in 2007 and also 2008. It was the Nationwide series. As far as I can tell from this press release, it's still the Nationwide series that would be going there again.
So if you want to see how well they turn right on that track, all you had to do was watch either of the last two years.
IIRC, in 2007 the finish was a big mess. Robbie Gordon got spun out from the lead, and the a lot of the field passed him under yellow while he got moving again. He felt that he should be in the front, and passed them all back again before the green resumed. He was black-flagged but continued the race anyway, crossing the line first, doing donuts, etc. He was officially scored as being disqualified and was DQ'd from the next race as well.
