The weather here in the northeast was crazy today just as it has been all of this summer. Left home for a track day at 5:30 AM in pouring rain at Palmer Motorsports Park in Central Mass. Storms hit hard at 3 o' clock and with the severe lightning that was accompanying the rain, the day ended soon for us as the last sessions for everyone were cancelled.

Props to the field for actually going out and qualifying in what were likely very tricky conditions. Congrats to Will Power and Newgarden. Rossi starts in 3rd and I hope he has a great race. Would love to see him be in the fight for the championship to the end.

Holy huge crash batman. Glad the safety measures all worked and the drivers involved are safe.

For a circle track race, I actually quite enjoyed watching the action. It helped that Rossi drove a good race.

Congrats to Rossi! Terrible accident! Hope Wickens' orthopedic injury is not too serious.

He's a tough kid. He'll be back next season.
