We're off to Sonoma tomorrow.
We're driving up and hooking up with vtecmom from The Corner forum and her husband and their motor home for three days of IndyCar. Then wine tasting on Monday and staying at Harris Ranch Tuesday night for steak dinner.

I'm going to park in some area, then meander around the RVs looking for people leaving BBQ unattended. Oh, and there might be a race going on, as well.

was just about to start a thread. Have fun guys and I hope it’s a tight battle between Dixon and Rossi to the championship.

Mad props to Scott Dixon and Ganassi for achieving Dixon’s 5th championship.
I was torn to bits bits when I saw Rossi’s first lap incident. I’ve probably never cussed out Marco Andretti as much as it was Rossi’s doing. But the drive Rossi then put in to finish where he did was in a master class. He made two errors as far as I can tell and the first one put him on the back foot while the second (going way offline and losing grip when RHR let him pass) could very well have been why he finished behind Bourdais. But it was a great drive and I really like his attitude. No drama when he hit Marco, but he put his head down and focused on the driving. He will be a future American champion for sure and I hope he takes this momentum into next season.
He was the reason (and Raptor too) that I started watching IndyCar and so far he’s kept up my interest in the series.

We had a great time. Just got back. Three days of good racing and good weather. Great motor hom e spot with a view of most of the track. Congrats to Scott and Ryan. Two other s2ki people and their wives were there on Sunday: UnkieTrunkie and S2020, in addition to vtecmom. Great Kunde mountain top wine tasting tour on Monday. Harris ranch overnight yesterday and great steak dinner last night. About 1,200 miles of driving. I'm tired.
