the beginning part of 2011 was a large transition for me. At one time in my head, i wanted to part out and sell the car. i was leaning my focus on getting a Porsche.
Joey aka @Stickydiljoe approached me and wanted to do another shoot on the car solo for his blog, but this time on the mugen M7's. Rywire Facility had all this empty space at the moment and we decided to do the shoot there.
the wheels aren't perfect, but damn good condition for me. they are 20 years old...you have to expect some flaws.
After a long night of shooting the car and shooting the shit with Ryan Rywire, he requested to use my car as a test-mule for Honda s2000 Rywire product lines.
What did i have to lose right? i didn't drive the car much. So i gave in....and it stayed at the facility for a few months.
heres our N'sync album cover in front of the car. Dpk david from Rywire, myself, Big Mike, Ryan Rywire and Joey Lee.
and thats how the party began. To be continued.

As you can see the Rywire Facilities can get pretty busy.
i wish i could dig up more pics of the break down but unfortunately i don't. so please excuse the lack of detail and explaining.
here is pretty much the break down of what Ryan did off the top of my head.
-Rywire spec Griffin radiator.
-Rywire mil spec engine harness
-Rywire ground kit
-Rywire tucked headlight harness
-Rywire tucked fuse box
-Aem EMS v2
-Rywire ABS relocation kit
-Battery truck relocation
I pretty much left the car in his hands to do all the testing on it and to make his product line. Plus he did all the installation and trouble shooting which i was headache free.
here is a pic of the mil-spec harness taken off his website.
small pic of the abs relocation.
after a few months we were buttoning up an unfinished car. Wekfest LA 2011 was the next day and Rywire wanted to display the car unfinished. So here we are rushing the day before mounting up the bumper.
ryan test driving the car, while i laugh at how shitty my car looks.
We washed the car of course that night, and rolled out to Long Beach.
Here's the first bay appearance. As you can see its DEFINITELY a work in progress.
The bay needed to be re-sprayed (which i had no idea how dull stock bays come from the factory), I had no intake which was still on order, and a ton of small knick knacks to make this bay presentable. I actually didn't want to show the car, because it wasn't in the form i wanted. But it is what it is....
Show was over and back to Rywire it went for some more finishing touches.

So now it was time to finish up the small details.
I called ICB matt, for my options in intakes, and we decided the Mugen intake was the best decision.
I contacted Alex at Sheepey built to help along the way of progress. Alex and Ryan are pretty good friends so they integrated ideas to help get the car going.
Engine bay was re-sprayed and the valve cover was reshot in Champ White.
We made a decision to sell the mugen 2.2L header and try out the new Skunk2 megapower header.
(pulled this pic off google)
Late OCT 2011 was Year 3 of the Chronicles anniversary, so we brought the car out again to display more progress.
here is the pic progress on the bay, a little bit more complete.
more progress on the bay. Decided to weld the intake arm to the intake velocity stack and V-band end arm to the throttle body. T1 custom catch can were placed in (these were custom one off pieces made for an s2000 bay), and ran a better fuel rail.
