Booooo on the strakes. I hate those things. Ask my friends

Car looks great though. After all these years how has the leather Pole Position held up?

I'll give them a shot, if they don't look good (which I doubt) I can always remove them. I am only drilling underneath and not the side panel. That will be 3M tape.

In regards to the Pole Position, it has held up incredibly well. It has around 40K miles on it between the SSM and BB. It's still looks perfect. I condition with a Meguair's leather product once every 6 months or so.

I mocked up the OEM side strakes with green tape on Saturday afternoon just to get an idea what they are going to look like. Overall I am very happy and will install them shortly along with the spoiler. I also got a nice wash in. I removed the wheels for cleaning. I wound up brushing the tires and applied a light coat of Griot's Garage tire dressing. (I believe this is my first time using any sort of tire shine on any of my S2000s lol) This is part of my transition from part time track guy to full time street car.

Try out CarPro Perl if you want a satin finish on your tires. A bottle will last forever.

Some photos from our 8/8 hooky day cruise to Montauk. Great day of windy country roads, S2000s, good beers, friends and a nice swim in the ocean.

Looks good. Your car is one of the few that I've actually liked this new Weds wheel on. Love the new size available but generally like the older TC105N more.
