Thanks! Wheels are mounted on the car but won't have any decent pictures ready anytime soon. Car is scheduled to be detailed early June!

This will have to do for the meantime.

Looks good. Bronze wheels are lame. Glad to see you went silver.

I dropped off the car last week at my buddies place to get detailed and I'll be picking it up this weekend.

I stopped by Manga_Spawn's place a few weeks ago to pick up an OEM header so I could swap back to the original one. While I was there, he even gave me a Tomica S2000 model from his recent trip from Japan. I might just use it for build inspiration. Thanks again btw! While I had the header off the car, I decided to get it ceramic coated to try and keep engine bay temps even lower, while eliminating the rust that we usually find on the heat shields. I'm pretty happy with how it came out!

That came out looking really good. It looks black at some angles and sort of sliver gunmetal in others. Really cool.

Is that ceramic coating something off the shelf you sprayed on or did you take it somewhere? If you took it somewhere, where and how much?

Looks cool, but it's going to be covered by the heat shields haha

I believe there's an off the shelf product as well as some DIYs out there. But for the price, might as well get the industrial application and have it cure properly in an oven. I paid $160 out the door at Pacific Performance Coatings in Everett. They have two other colors which are black and a semi-polished silver. The owner told me that Performance Coatings in Auburn also does similar work but has more color options.
