totally forgot I made a build thread on here, so here's an update
ended up with this look, liked it a lot but I wanted more. people initially mod their cars in a sense to carry out a specific purpose, for me that purpose is art.
ended up going with air suspension.
from there I sourced this trunk, can remember the company that makes it as they fell off the map.
wasn't too happy with the partial tuck, so I went ahead and addressed that.
started grinding away at the unnecessary tabs
fiberglassed.
epoxy primered.
base coat.
top coat and cleared.
hated how the powder coated stuff looked.
so I started plating stuff.
the plating pile.
started to reassemble
at this point I was waiting on a mil-spec harness and the drama started.
when I 1st installed the air suspension the trunk looked like a nightmare. so I figured id address that. talked to a good buddy of mine and he designed this for me.
trunk set up test fitted. nice, clean and simple

trunk set-up test fitted. the battery sits in the bottom of the well.
because the Battery isn't the easiest thing to access I went ahead and installed jumper posts behind the license plate bracket.
