Why not Hoosiers? Isn't the A7 the tire to have?

Also, make sure you tack-weld your upper A-arm mounts in the front. Otherwise they'll tear off with extended use with soft slick tires and autocross conditions.

they are but others have run their c71s/91s a season and a half longer than a6s/a7s. since i'm back in my rookie car, i wanted to get as much seat time on them since i am still a novice

i inspect them after every race since i have to swap wheels. my fellow s2k friends who have 4-6 more seasons haven't had any issues yet since our surface is quite loose and courses are typically slower (due to our small lot size).

Just be careful man. We've had a few local autocross guys separate them after only a season on A tires. I would do it just for peace of mind.

Ive seen the rear upper lift out at the track when guys run slicks.

stitch welding this is easy, and is proven to work.

Lol, I'm not a welder, so no clue. It's not particularly complicated though, any decent welder can do the job. Just be sure to wire wheel and clean the area around the bracket as good as possible. It's just one of those things you do, and once it's done you'll never have to worry about again.

Since you have an AP1, the front upper control arm joints are the weaker than the AP2's. I would suggest you wait until RHDJapan has a weekend sale for Spoon parts and pick up a AP1 set 60815-AP1-000.

These are completely unnecessary. The bracket simply needs to be spot welded to the chassis.
