Chonda's 3rd year progression
I'm mostly a lurker on the site, thought it was time to break out of the shell.
This has been the best and most fun car I have ever owned. I plan on keeping it forever, however the look will most likely change many times. I would like to show you how it has changed for me over the 3 years of ownership. Some will love it, some will hate it but I guess in the end its how I will enjoy it.
Day one of picking up my car. 2002 with 43k miles on the clock.
First basic mod, espelir springs and dipped wheels.
Next mod was AP2v1's and J's Racing 60rs full titanium.
This was my favorite iteration of oem+
Next on the list were 17x8 and 17x9 rpf1's and BC racing coilovers and a mugen hardtop
Attachment 180022
I was getting a bit bored of the stock ap1 bumper and lip combo. Switched to ap2 and cr lip, also purchased shine rx7 carbon feed side diffusers and spoon carbon diffuser. Added in APR gt3 mirrors shortly after as well as vintage s600 emblems

Then switched to a square 17x9 rpf1 setup:
After some time enjoying the car up to this point, I felt the need for speed. Put on a vortech supercharger with ap2 pully, aem ems, 1000cc ID injector and some gladman engine cooling plates.
Changed the rpf1's to white:

Unfortunately at the end of last year (2014) I was riding on worn out summer tires in the cold, spun out and destroyed my ap2/cr lip. Had some other light fender damage. This brings us to the most current iteration. I decided to go extreme! Purchased CCW LM5T 18x10 +44 18x11.4 +51, ASM rear over fenders, Voltex front overfenders, RSG gears lip (yay back to ap1), Avery vinyl satin white pearl.
Meats. 285/30/18 255/30/18
Starting to shape up!
Bingo!

Update to 2017:
Added a BBK, 295's to the rear and oem CR frontend
Bonus Dyno Video:
made 355whp with the ap2 pulley.
Thats it for now! Hope you enjoyed having shared my journey so far.

Thanks I love the wrap, very easy to maintain, easier than paint imo. Only thing is you have to be quick to remove bird poo otherwise it has an acidic like effect on the vinyl. The new materials last around 6-7 years if the car is garaged.

Hey whats up! I know.... I have been living in Florida for the last 6 months and been enjoying the endless summer here. I get to drive the car all year round now!
I updated the main page with updated pics of my current build of the car.

Not really my cup of tea on looks, but definitely props on the work.
