Chuch2k 06 AP2
Hello everyone! I have decided to start my own build thread to share the build progress on my s2000. I have owned the car for several years and have done a fair amount of mods to it. I enjoy late night mountain runs and adventurous drives.

I purchased this car in June 2014
Some driving on a nice sunny weekend on 9
February 2015
Here is the first attempt to get dyno tuned.
Dyno- Synergy Autoworks
Tuner- Lawrence
I purchased a flashpro on eBay, the post mentioned the flashpro was unmarried. Turns out, it wasn't I was unable to tune that day but I was able to get a baseline run. Car made 215 wph
I contacted the seller and he wanted to do a partial refund since he no longer had access to the car. That was a no go for me. After making a claim on Paypal I was able to get my money back and learned my lesson.
March 2017- Let's try this again!
Dyno- Lawerncebuilt
Tuner- Lawrence
Here is my second attempt to get Dyno tuned. This time around I purchased a new flashpro and married it before. The car made 230wph. We were having trouble reading torque that day. I wasn't after high horsepower, I was after midrange power. Lawrence.
July 2017- APV4
I drove the car for a while with stock wheels and decided to purchase Enkei rpf1. Here are some before and after pictures of oem to rpf1. At this point, I had purchased an invidia q300. I honestly did not like the sound the exhaust made. It was a bit too raspy for me. The exhaust did not last..
I enjoyed the car for a few months and did not "mod" it since I felt good on its appearance.
I don't have a date for when this happened but at this point, I had done several different mods to the car. As you can see in the pictures I added a Js racing carbon wing and (not pictured) spoon rigid collars. Adding the collars made a world of a difference. If you don't have them, I recommend them! One other noticeable small addition is the downforce front lip splitter.
When I first purchased the car I purchased skunk2 adjustable suspension. In this picture, I am feeling out my new Ohlins adjustable suspension with upgraded Swift springs. It was such a noticeable difference!
will be playing catch up to my current spec....

I haven't been updating the process as much as I would like. That'll change soon
Here are my new Volk Rays CE28N!
Specs 17x10+50
I ordered Rays center caps but they seem to be on backorder for 2 months from Japan. Surprisingly, I was able to squeeze these without aggressive camber in the front. I chose RE71r as they are my go-to tire. 255 40 17
Ohh yeah almost forgot. I've added an ASM I.S. Design Ducktail Spoiler FRP
Its suits the rear end very well if you ask me
