Yeah i dont have that kind of money right now.lol Im working on another huge project too. We think the diff was already damaged because previous owner likely launched the car and weakened the diff. it always had a knocking noise on take off that gradually got worse culminating in this.

I have seen plenty of other people track ap1 s2k and not have issues. problem was this one probably already had some minor damage from launching. Puddy mod is great but dont have 3k to blow right now. Im already atleast close to 5k into another mod im doing on the s2k. I managed to find a used diff so im just waiting on that to arrive. Do you know if AP2 diff would fit ap1?

Havent updated in a while. Got the differential fixed and run a track day with no issues.

Started working on the car. Mechanic is putting in a few hours here and there when he can.
Started with oil banjo bolts for oil squirters and Ballade oil baffle

Next mod, picked up the car from one mechanic with new wheel bearings. Took it to the next mechanic to put these balladesport spherical bushings in. I knew my oem ones had to be town because i had noises from the passenger side rear coming from down low in the suspension that i could never trace. figured its about time with over 100k miles.

Finally got the car back with all bushings replaced. Job was a PITA and alot of the oem bushings where seized in there meaning they had to be cut out which took so long

Now off to alignment

Drove the car back to california. I will miss running at RPM but on a positive note i got the super charger properly tuned by Dardan Maloku. His work is amazing and his knowledge of the cars is mind blowing. he was able to do a full tune in less than 3 hours. The drivability is so much more improved and the power is really smooth with no hikups

conservative numbers but cant complain. The extra power is overwhelming cold racing brakes on the street.

The last time i stopped in Nebraska. The ap2 wheels look alot better. Im still deciding on what tires to put on them now that i dont have to worry about snow on the west coast. I am looking at the Federal FZ201 as a really cheap R comp but the sizes i want have not yet hit the shores of north america. For some reason that tire has been sold in Europe for a long time but federal never brought it to USA until now.
