Update #2: OEM Hardtop

I really don't have any story for this one.

I wanted it. I ordered it. I received it. I installed it.

Here is a quick teaser that one of the local guys took of my car at the recent Cars & Coffee meet. Thanks Boofster!

Notice the center caps are on in this picture as well. You can't see them to well, but in person they really bring the car together. At first I was worried that they would be to busy for the car, but after putting them on I have no regrets. It's amazing how those four little circular pieces of metal really pull the car together.

DO WANT! by Teh_Feezy, on Flickr

Once I get off my lazy ass and start/finish my next project I have another three things for the car that should hopefully bring it all together even more. I think after that I'll be done with the exterior with the exception of a wing... decisions... decisions...

The caps look awesome really nice along with the car. You got some rare wheels there.

The faces of the wheels are powder coated 'Cast Aluminum'. In person the color is flat and it changes colors depending on the light. In the sun its a bright silver and in the dark it turns gun metal. I'll most likely end up repainting the faces to the original color. The other set of wheels I have have never been refinished and the centers are a bright silver. I think I like that much better.

Thank you guys for all the compliments.

I managed to get together today with Adam for another round of photos, so proper pictures are on their way.

I also have another set of items to go on the car. Hopefully I'll have them done by the end of the year.

Nice S2K. A little off topic but, the guy who created the company of the logo you have in your Avatar went to the high school in the town i live in.
