ya they weren't cheap. you have to cut the stock heat shields off to fit the BBK so you just have to fab something to attach the hose to and will clear the rotor.

havent fitted it yet. Probably won't throw it on until the snow melts.

Very tempted in the Amuse style hardtop. +1 on fitment as well. Any imperfections in the carbon, or anything upon inspection?

I bought a lightly used painted amuse style hardtop for quite a bit of money, I was a little worried because everyone posts about "all replica hard tops fit like shit" let me tell you, that's NOT TRUE. With the hardtop installed, it is at least 2-3x quieter than with the soft top installed. That's my personal indication of a decent replica or not. I've test drove other S2000's with bad replica tops and it sounded like I was on a motorcycle, wind blowing in everywhere.

nothing ive noticed. Looks like a high quality part. I ordered the premium version from RSG so not sure if there's any difference in the regular one. But no bubbles, waves, excess resin or anything like that.

ya i saw that in the installation manual about ditching the heat shield... I'll just have to make my own kit...

What's the length of the hose you used in either side? 5 feet?

i had 14ft total so I cut one side to 6 ft and left the rest on the other. When I get the cooling plates on I'll trim it down to what I need. I imagine it'll get to around 5 ft or so. I'm going to try and stuff as much as I can behind the bumper so there's slack next time I have to pull the bumper.

Installed the Sparco horn buttons to use as cruise control. I think the DIY I was looking at to figure out which wires were which for cruise control must have been for an AP1 because mine were completely different. I'll probably have to pull it off again to connect to the right wires. Also figured out why my horn wasn't working. The ground loop thing on the back of the horn button doesn't sit deep enough to touch the edge of the hub. So I'll have to solder a wire to it and connect it.

Got a silicone hump reducer to install the rest of the J's intake. Didn't realize it had to sit at such a strange angle to fit under the hood. I've still got to play with a bit to completely close the hood. Also got a precut J's cooling plate for a nice clean fit. Had to pull the strut bar off to clear the intake. It said it would fit under the J's strut bar but mine hits. I'll leave the one side with the ETD and I'll probably get a master cylinder brace for the other. Started her up last night with the new intake and it's much quieter than the k&n. I bought the car with the FIPK so I don't know what stock sounded like but it's probably about the same when not WOT.

also swapped my Mugen oil cap for a J's one. I like that it's predrilled. I'll probably safety wire it for shits and giggles.
