Good work, I noticed that someone said the YellowStuff pads were a bad choice (in the original thread). I have to say that may be the case on standard calipers but on those 6 pots I think it will be less of an issue, as least I hope it is because I thought they gave a pretty good brake pedal.

Nice work eventually I will want to redo all my bushing as well, how do you like poly compared to rubber bushings?

That was me. They're fine for the road and tracks which aren't too demanding on brakes (perfect for the Nordschleife). Not good for tracks with big stops like Bedford GT or Goodwood.

In 6 pots or standard calipers as the application is quite different?

I had the same problem with my steering rack spacers. My guess is the spoon steering rack spacer must have that little groove to fit with their solid steering rack bushings.

Keep up the good work. It's always nice to read a good built thread

Yeah you're probably right, im sure they'd fit the Spoon rack spacers. I already had the Hardrace spacers so i just measured the "nipple" size and stuck it on a pillar drill and made the holes bigger.

Hopefully not, especially with the brake cooling. But as i said, trial and error. If they turn out to be rubbish (which i hope they aren't) then i'll just get something else. Im hoping they turn out to be a half decent track pad as they're a fair bit cheaper than the likes of Ferodo's etc.

New shoes came today

Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2 Motorsport Editions. Had them custom made for the s2000 so no spigot rings needed.

17x9 et40 square. Planning to run 255/40's all-round.

Saw this when you had it in the UK forum. Awesome build man! Reminds me to stop being a lazy asshole and get to work on my own car.

Little update.

Got my 255/40 Nankang ns2r MED Compound tyres fit to the Team Dynamics. Also ordered some Buddyclub p1 RCA's front & rear, which i have now stripped down the rear hubs and fit the rears. I am also replacing the rear wheel bearings while they are off and giving the hubs a lick of paint.

After a lot of trial and error parts and researching as to fitting my KEY!S steering wheel onto the VGS upper column, i ended up replacing the upper column for a normal one. This ended up being ALOT cheaper than the option of a VGS boss kit (£350-600), i paid £25 for a second hand steering column and £40 for a HKB boss.
