Went to Laguna Seca on 4/21 to test out new mods. Was excited to try the NT01s and was hoping to shave lots of time. Only ended up running a 1'43.5 which is 0.3 seconds better than my PB. Grip from the NT01s feels a lot better than my RSRRs but will take some more times to fully take advantage of/get used to. Will be shooting for 41s eventually. Maybe even 1'40s?

Upgraded all bushings to sphericals (except front upper arms that are still delrin offsets). Had a horrible time dealing with ESM with missing bushings and getting on the phone with them. Probably would have paid the extra money and bought all hardrace sphericals if I were to do it again. Also got an OS Giken LSD and 4.3 final gear.

So far, bushings feel amazing on bumps as the suspension moves so freely without resistance. Installing the bushings was super labor intensive as well.

Feels like I can pin the throttle sooner and harder without losing any traction as well when just driving around windy roads but will need to track test to see what it feels like at the limit.

My buddy and I also had a terrible experience with ESM. What a shitshow it was to get our parts. We both ended up ordering seperate spherical shock bushings because ESM never got our orders correct and they stopped responding!

Are you still running the HKS coilovers? On my ap1, I just finished ap2 subframe swap, almost done with sphericals, then need to do clutch job. I'm looking to upgrade from my current stock setup. I'm in the Bay Area as well.

Lol right on Gary. It's Gideon by the way. I'll hit you up if I change my mind about the HKS.

Went to Laguna Seca on 10/14/19 with SpeedSF. Surprised myself with a 1'40.67! Finally met my goal of a 1'40 ever since buying this car over 2 years ago. The nankangs grip so well and the Mugen AP2 header definitely packs a punch in the midrange (The 1'40 was set prior to the retune). Was able to run the AFE intake and Mugen header and still pass sound at Laguna as well.

After my tune, I gained more hp after 5.5k rpm.

Dotted Line: -Stock intake with KN Drop in, 60mm TP, Fujitsubo Power Getter Exhaust, Tune Solid Red: 60mm TP, Fujitsubo Power Getter Exhaust, Tune, Mugen AP2 Header, AFE Takeda Intake

Picked up a Mugen Style Carbon hood for cheap so decided to throw it on for extra venting.
