Not really an update, but my friend let me borrow his OEM hardtop for a few weeks. I have always been curious about how my car would look with an OEM top.

Also, I detailed the crap out of my car this past Thanksgiving weekend.
Exterior: wash, clay bar, wet sand OEM mirror holes, buff out sanding marks, corrected the paint, polished the paint, applied G1 Tehniq C1 base coat and Exo top coat
Interior: Vacuumed, fabric cleaned floormats and carpet, cleaned and conditioned leather, cleaned and UV protected interior plastics.

And I also gutted out my soft top.

Awesome pictures, curious to see what the tc105n's look like on the car. Any plans to get them refinished? or rock them as is?

I plan on taking photos this weekend. it's actually been raining all week here in SoCal. And I just plan on rocking them as is, as track wheels, I don't care they have chips and stains

This past Sunday I had my second track day at Buttonwillow Raceway, it was my first time at that track. Had a great time, the car did fine, need to get better at driving lol. Anyways, I swapped my RE30 CS2 off the car and had my WedSport TC105N on the car for my track day, wheel and tire specs: 18x9.5 +35 255/35 square.

It had rained all week in SoCal so the track was a bit damp and off the track was VERY muddy. I spun out at the top of Phil Hill, I'm pretty sure I turned in too late at the top of the hill and my rear end broke loose and went into the mud and my car was stuck and ended up having to get towed out. Other than that, the rest of my sessions went well, I was more cautious and took my time to know the track better.

My best time was nothing great, 2:18.260, but can't wait to get back out there again and improve more.

Did you know you can edit the link that Flickr provides so you are only posting a picture? I can't even load your thread anymore because of all the shit Flickr is trying to embed.
