I have heard that, but no. I'll be running a custom Competition Clutch twin disk which comes with the flywheel. There might be some noise but I've spoken with people who have the 350z swaps and they have no complaints. Maybe the weight of the twin disk kinda mellows everything out.

Some updates! Been super busy with work now that this is my busy season!
I went ahead and bit the bullet on a custom built engine harness by WireWorx. My buddy Steve at Hardcore Bays is a dealer for them and gave me a sweet hookup! I'm integrating my AEM oil pressure, wideband, and SOS flex fuel wiring into the loom of the harness for an extra clean look. I had Steve make me up a custom charge harness as well. I'm going to be running a single line from the alternator to the starter then to the driver side fuse box then across to the passenger side main box. Still waiting on the harness, but the change harness I have.
I finally got to it on the custom plates for my removable cross member setup. I had a nightmare at a local steel distributer, they did a horrible job on the plates and I couldnt accept them. I ended up going to a friend of a friends welding shop for some ideas, he was able to make them super super easy since he had a laser machine that was able to cut 8 perfect identical pieces. I was very very happy with the outcome. I also shot down to Inline Pro and picked up my motor. Everything looks to be as it should.

The car has been pretty much stagnant. Been waiting to get the car dropped off to get going on the engine bay and I'm still waiting on the transmission kit from Inline Pro to drop. Without that tranny in the car it will sit. Not really planning on throwing the stock trans back in the car. I recently found a great deal on a mint condition Berlina Black OEM hardtop with hardware down in the Bronx so I'm going to be utilizing that top instead of the damaged one I have. I'll be posting the damaged one up for sale shortly in the classifieds section.
I finsihed up the wire tuck a few weeks back and it looks great. The whole engine bay is empty and will look great come assembly time.
I recieved a few little things over the past few weeks also. New gaskets all around for the entire motor from the guys over at Auto Fair Honda.
And a couple teaser shots of the setup!

Well, as anticipated, this build is taking much longer than expected. Car is still at the shop getting the bay done. Progress is being made little by little. I recieved my custom WireWorx engine harness and all looks perfect! Still patiently waiting on the transmission kit from Inline Pro to be released also. Should be done fairly soon.
