Default lilk's Widebody/Legalo thread

Hi guys!

A month ago I bought a 2007 GPW AP2 from s2ki member Juntsky. Overall I like it, but there are a few flaws that I want to fix.

Here is Juntsky's build thread

Here's when I got the car:

The first things that needed to be taken care of were the wheels, seats, and A/C. The guys at ScienceofSpeed were able to find and replace the torn A/C line and put on a set of Advan RZs - 17x8.5+25, 18x10+25.

The new(er) seats came from s2ki member hatrickstu. Seats installed:

Here is how the car looks now:

Although effort was made to trim off the OEM sideview mirrors and install aftermarket mirrors, I'm not a huge fan of it at all. I'm looking at changing the side mirrors either back to OEM or to a larger set of aftermarket mirrors, as the ones on now aren't big enough. I also want to go back to an OEM shift knob instead of the RSK Circuit Garage one installed now and willing to trade if anyone is interested.
Finally, the checklist:

Wheels
Coilovers
A/C
Seats
Side mirrors
OEM shift knob
Soft top tray

I'm currently looking for a set of KW v3s and will try to update this as I get more done.

Thanks for stopping by!

Really excited to see what you do with this one. I considered trying to buy that car from Kevin so many times...

Very nice pick up, I was wondering what happened to the car? His for sale thread was up for a while so I'm glad to see someone is going to finish this up. Can't wait to see it finished!

The other style of MRacing mirrors would look a lot better

another option for mirrors are craftsquare. they should mount to your existing hole pattern with the universal mount.

Congrat! I had a serious consideration buying this S2000 back then too, but too many of my friends talked me out of buying a second S2000. It's definitely a steal for this build =)

I heard the car was coming out to Arizona, it would be cool to be able to see it in person sometime.
