Hi everyone, my name is Matt and this is my thread for my 2001 AP1 S2000.
I was used to having journal threads on past cars so I figured might as well start one here.

Current mod list:
Exterior
- Authentic OEM AP1 lip (retired and now hanging up on a wall)
- Bayson-R AP1 replica lip

Engine (lol)
- HKS Hi Power dual catback exhaust
- Berk test pipe w/ CEL fix

Suspension
- Stance GR+ Pro coilovers 12k/12k spring rates

Wheels/tires
- Enkei RPF1s 17x9/9.5
- Blitz 01 17x9 +38
- Desmond Regamaster Marquis Promoda 17x9 +38

Purchased December of 2013.



Picture of the car morning after I picked it up.
Came with:

-H&R coilovers
-HKS Hi Power dual
-Rota D2 (SSR SP1 replicas)
-Alpine sound system (terribly wired up)



I'm not a fan of replica wheels, so I immediately swapped the Rotas for the OEM wheels the previous owner sent me home with.

Soon after I decided to tear into the car and replace the original soft top.
The previous owner had a brand new 02+ soft top from Honda he also threw in with the car.







This project was very extensive, me not having a great amount of experience working on cars other than simple exhaust and suspension mods. It was a great learning experience, but I probably would never do it again on my car especially by myself.

While the car was apart I picked up another set of coilovers to replace the H&Rs

Eventually got the car back together.



Then ordered a set of AP2V4's
17x9 +35 and 17x9.5 +38
Ran 225/45/17 and 255/40/17

Bringing this thread back. I miss the old days of forums and updating member journals and not the instagram nonsense we have today.

My buddy at Evoked Photography took these summer of 2014.
First time ever getting an actual photoshoot done of my car.







Around the same time I picked up a new daily to reduce the miles on the S2000 (I drive a lot.)

Not much happened after the RPF1s.
The Enkeis sold in winter 2014.
My daily driver Civic had overheating problems so I then replaced it with a 2015 Accord, then decided it was too big for me, gave it to my dad and bought myself a 2016 GTI.

Added on a Berk 60mm (?) test pipe to reduce the drone I got with the HKS.
The RPF1s were replaced with a set of Blitz 01s.

Planned on selling the car so wanted to get one last photoshoot in, but then later decided during the winter that I want to turn it into something I always envisioned before I regret selling it as is (progress to be documented here in the future.)

This is how the car sits as of today.
The original AP1 lip was taken off after getting beat up by my new house's driveway so it's hanging on a wall in my house as a decoration, car now has a Bayson R replica as a temporary replacement.
The Blitz were sold and picked up a set of Regamasters

I've had the car for almost 3 years and this week was the first time I took it out of state.
Went down to H2Oi and had a blast in this thing. More pictures to come.
