My 06 AP2 Build - Bay Area

5/26/17: Continued..
Since my little cousin needed a new set of wheels after our last track outing. I ended up selling him my Advan wheels.
I ended up picking up a set of these in Diamond black and in a super aggressive fitment.
Due to my new wheel set up, I decided to change my exterior fenders as well. Ordered a set of J's racing front fenders and ASM rear fenders to really complete the look.
Since I had new fenders coming in and Tom needed mine for his car to be compliant to rules for his race, I ended up selling some of my stuff to him.
So here's his car with my fenders ready for the race weekend. You gotta admit his car just looks bad ass. lol.
Meanwhile... this is how my car looks like now. Just waiting on fenders and the engine at this point.
We're almost there!!! Stay tuned!

Been debating on what color to wrap the car. Wife wanted it red and I was open to it but I kept asking myself, do i really want to wrap it a color that makes the car look stock-ish?
Debated between these colors:
Avery Night blue:
Some other blue:
Another blue:
Not sure if I can rock this:
Last but not least (my favorite so far), Porsche Fashion Grey:
Really leaning towards the Grey right now but ehh we'll see.

nice pickup on the wheels. what size tires are you gonna try to squeeze into the rear?[/QUOTE]
Really? I was actually pretty set on the Nardo Grey wrap on the s2k. lol
Looks pretty good in these pictures:
I'm running a square set up with 275/35/18's.

6/22/17: My shineauto replica J's racing fenders came in. They actually fit better than the authentic stuff. Shoutout to Ken from Shine Auto for being so easy to work with and creating such a quality product.

OP, I recognize your GTR from the Club Auto Sport event, nice job. If you are serious about taking the AP2 to the track, just start going, and make these mods one at a time so you can ensure the car's reliability at the end of the build. Very few amateur track cars are built in one go due to 1) more variables = more risk of things going wrong and 2) the driver needs to get used to the car, and the more changes the more learning curve.
