Default My epic build thread. Got some new pieces for Xmas

All the goodies and 3 books of pictures. No words.

Got the tires mounted right away. Like I said, squared set-up.

The nuts and bolts of the project.

Tonight's progress. Some chassis / frame work and the diff and the diff carrier assembled and joined.

I'll try to update this with my progress as time allows.

Got out of bed this AM and went straight to the garage.

Seat is in, the clutch is in, the driveshaft too. More chassis / monocoque work.

I've got about 4 hours total time in thus far. I'm half way through the first book of 3.

With over 1100 total pieces, getting started was the hardest part. The further along you get the easier it is to find the part you need to move forward.

I transferred everything to Ziploc bags for easier access and to prevent loss.

This is my type of build! I loved building Lego Technic stuff when I was younger. Whenever I go to Toys R Us, I always pop my head in the Lego section to see what's up.
