Just wanted to share my completed build of my 2004 AP1 engine/ AP2 Body s2000.
I've purchased it back in 2004 brand new. 13 years later, I still cant imagine parting ways with it.
After some time in 2011 I decided that I wanted a little more bite from it.
So I took it to a local shop called SMS Design and Performance, and they were absolutely amazing to deal with.
Therefore the turbo project was set in motion.







The outcome was pure ludicrous fun.
Since then the s2000 started tearing through cars on the streets. Thats when the name Red Katana was given to her.
I used to call her my lady in red.





Other than the APR wind splitter, the car looked completely stock.
In 2014 I thought it was about time to give the Red Katana some new clothes that suits her name.
Now I knew from the start which look I had in mind as I was saving up for it.
It was always going to be the APR Wide Body or nothing at all.
So I took it back to SMS Design and Performance and the results speak for itself.






I know of no one who could have done a better job that they did.
The feeling I got when I first picked the car up was exactly like 18 year old me picking up the s2000 back in 2004.
I was like a child, and can you blame me .
As I'm sure with most of you here you know that this is not the end for the Red Katana.
Its a never ending process with many more things to come.
