Thank you, in other news, my blue tips were too chromey-blue-bright for my taste. So looking around I really like the blue/purple that TODA uses on their exhaust. I’ve blued a lot of gun parts in my day so I tried to get a good finish on my black set. After stripping them I heated them to a glow with a Oxy-Ace torch then immediately cooled them in a vat of used motor oil. I did this three times and got a nice subtle finish.

Short clip. I feel like it’s getting a little deeper the more it soots up. Does a nice little pop backfire at redline shifts.

how did you get it perfectly smooth? is there just a casing around it with the stamped metal?

The muffler is un-changed from OEM , the underside is already smooth, the stamped shield is on top. As far as paint, it’s 2 part epoxy sprayed with and automotive grade HVLP.

Decided to stop being lazy and do my valve adjustment, I’m glad I did. Car ran excellent but all exhaust valves were tight, one was .005! All but 2 intake valves were at .011
Adjusted exhaust to .012 per Billmans recommendations and set intake side to .010

car is running great, don’t really notice any extra valve chatter at .012 so that’s a good thing

Well when coming home from work 2 days ago disaster struck, coming over an over pass there was a multi car pile up taking up all lanes and the shoulders. I hit the shoulder and avoided contact until someone had the same idea and cut the shoulder in front of me

I then proceeded to eat 4 cars from the rear, let’s just say my beloved Tahoe has met its end, I’m thankful to be ok.
So yesterday I went car shopping, I also have a 2016 Tacoma TRD that I let my girlfriend drive so I took that back and set out to get her a daily for around town. I wanted to try an electric vehicle, she only drives around town, gym, school and if she ever needed to go long range we have the truck and the s2000.

I spent the day driving cars and I really fell in love with the BMW i3. The interior is super cool and that low end torque.... wow, this thing will smoke any gas powered car off the line! Anyway, the S2000 has a new garage mate.
