For those that don't know, the Datsun came with u-joint half shafts. What I've done is used a Subaru STI R180 LSD diff, and custom Porsche axles. Can't wait to get this on the road.

I looked at the picture before I read what you wrote and was wondering if you were gonna start driving the car on a 45 degree angle... lol
But nice job man.

Any particular reason why you mounted the cluster in the center of the dash and not directly infront of the driver?

There was already a large hole in the dash in the center. So instead of replacing the dash, I leaned into it! I'll likely place a shift light closer to my view.

I am a custom driveshaft away from getting this old girl on the road. I also put together a carbon radiator shroud.

Measuring for the drive shaft next weekend. Needed to be able to get under there to take accurate measurements. Why I didn't buy these things years ago is beyond me.

Sorry that my friend doesn't know how to turn the phone sideways. But she lives!

Next steps:
1)Install radiator fan
2)Get an alignment
3)Start the process of working out bugs

Hey SteadFast,

Awesome build you have going here, long time lurker of s2ki finally joined up because of this thread!

I'm also doing a F20C swap into a KE70 corolla and later transplanting the same swap into my AE86. Both are track only cars.

Your wiring is the most interesting thing and the reason I found this thread, just curious as to what loom/s you are using to run the motor and what you have modified (saw the C101 post earlier), as I'm also looking to go Kpro.

Currently the motor I bought only came with the engine harness, so I don't have the dash side loom which has the ECU "A" connector and C101 attached, so just trying to figure out if I can run the engine without this as most of the pins on that connector are only related to the S2K dash (which I don't plan to run)

Anyway, sorry for the hijack! Would've PM'd but being a new member I don't think I'm able yet!

Cheers!

-Don

I used the dash loom because I'm using the s2000 cluster. The dash loom isn't needed in your case. Especially if you are using Kpro, to remove the immobilizer. Just pull all the wires needed from the engine loom. I can't say enough about how awesome the ARC panel is. I would seriously look into it. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.
