Thanks man! Risky picture but with such a long sweeping overpass you can see a car coming from a mile away...
I was like, there's no way I'm not trying to get this pic!

Hope you're well, Ricky!

Jeez...almost went 5 years without a thread update

friend of a friend that ended up being my friend made me a deal I couldn't refuse...
FINALLY tried out a square setup and now I understand what all the hype was about...17x9 +45 is the way and I won't go back.
Ended up with 245 fronts and 255 rear but I still call it square. Might need the extra meat out back pretty soon anyway...

LOVE the look and it truly transformed the way the car drives...even just cruising around is so much more fun now.

Things are great here in Palm Bay! Just had our 1 year anniversary down here and still learning new stuff everyday!
Car wise, I still have the G37 coupe (love this car!) and my S2K. I just bought brand new OEM Headlights and front lip for it, so thats my next project. Laurie has her '19 Mazda MX5 and we have a CRV for tooling around.
Glad to see you still have an entire fleet of cars, too!

Would you mind elaborating on this? I'll be looking for wheels next year and I have been torned between staggered (8in/225 FR/ 9in/255 RR) and square. The main concern I have is making the car tail happy which seems to be a result of a square setup. I am aware some folks upgrade the Front Sway Bar (I think) for CR/00-01 AP1 to address this.

Love the silver on yellow - Very clean car!

I forgot you moved! Good for you, glad you're enjoying yourself, still.
Hell of a stable you got goin on there...seriously. A car for every occasion, for sure.

Well, basically the way the car feels...part of it was worn AS tires to Summer tires, I'm sure but in taking sweeping turns in it, the front never felt that FIRMLY planted...with this setup, it feels VERY stable
when making turns...as far as oversteer, with so little torque, I feel like the car is reasonably controllable, assuming it doesn't just snap oversteer when you weren't expecting it but really even then I think a lot of the ability to control that comes with practice and good driving habits. Track or auto X dudes can likely chime in with a more polished answer. To me, it just feels great now.
