Love seeing what you have done so far. I am starting to pull pieces together to make a "Type S" AP2 out of my 07 Berlina, so I am taking notes. Love the nose of the car.

Subscribing to the the thread, to see what more you do.

Here is one of a few updates that is currently in the works for the S (Ballade Sports V2 roll bar). This is by far my favorite design roll bar for the s2k. I'll be getting this installed by a local Ballade Sports distributor (Rogue Motorsports). This shop specializes in prepping track cars and knows s2000's very well. Really looking forward to this install!

Got another update. Ordered Sparco Evo2 seats! Decided to go with the Evo2 b/c I'm a 36'' waist, so it fits me perfectly. Anything higher than that would of needed the Evo2 US edition or the Evo3. These came all the way from Ireland (much cheaper than ordering here within the U.S.). I also got the Sparco base, sliders and side mounts. Just need to order a pair of harnesses now. Most likely will get the 4-point competition Sparco harness in next few weeks

Picked up these race ramps recently. They really make it easier for our lowered cars when it comes to doing oil changes.

So today I got my roll bar installed! Big shout out to Mario @ Rogue Motorsports for doing this awesome install for me! If anyone in the NorCal area is looking for good quality work, definitely contact this guy! PM me if you need his contact info, but he can also be found on IG.

In order to get the roll bar mounted, some cutting was required in order to install the backing plates in the rear wheel wells.

An aerosolized expanding foam was sprayed in and then coated with a black underbody spray.

Final result:

Went to my very 1st track event hosted by OnGrid @ Thunderhill Raceway on 11-12-2016. I had such a great time and really got to push the S2k to limits I haven't taken before. I think I'm catching the track bug, cuz I really wanna go again!

Here's a video I was able to record near the end of my last session. Video is a POV from a GoPro 4 Silver that was mounted to my helmet.

I really like the new roll bar, buuuuuuut don't really like how I had to give up the interior trim pieces. Not a fan of the "gutted" look, so I decided to take care of that. I purchased some black carpet, normally used for subwoofer boxes, from Amazon. This specific one is made by Absolute USA (part: C15BK).

I also purchased some self adhesive velcro material from Amazon to help with the install. This specific one I purchased is made by Strenco (5 yards).

Oh, and I also recently picked up my painted AP1 OEM rear spoiler
