Yikes. It's been a while since I've updated this.
Had my CE28's refinished. Gunmetal base coat and a hyper silver gloss coat to sort of match mercury silver.
Not much else to report, just driving the car and enjoying it.

Hey Sam, just wanted to say the pictures at this stage of your build really inspired me to get my s2k. I had a similar picture to this that I downloaded before I even bought my S. I think I even reached out to you to ask you the specs of your REs right after I got my car. I finally got a set of REs recently, but Mag blue. Thanks for the inspiration. Now I need to step up my interior.
How do you like the seat covers? I've heard mixed reviews. They look great in the pic.

If you're referring to the Clazzio's, they were decent, I think the leather ones will probably last better than the suede (or whatever it is) ones I got as they didn't really keep their color, but other than that no complaints. They did add a little plushness to the seat so they were a bit more comfy.

This past weekend was the Indy race at Mid Ohio. I had picked Takuma Sato for the parade lap, but I ended up with someone's kid instead oh well, he was really nice and happy he got a ride along, on the plus side I didn't have to worry about the driver falling off the back of the car.

Time to refresh the interior a bit. I had the door panels recovered to match the rest of the black alcantara bits. These were redone by Jason over at Overland Designs in Maine.
I've got them installed, but the sun needs to come out now so I can get better pics of them in the car

Did not drive the car much at all this summer, but here's this years Indy car pics.
I asked for Takuma Sato again since I didn't get him last year...
Well worth it, he was awesome. Knew a lot about the S2000, he also loved all the alcantara stuff I've done on mine We talked the entire parade lap, best one so far.
