Wanted to post something here to help track everything on my s2k, had it a year now and is my summer weekend toy.
I got a royal navy blue 2005 gt in 2023 with full honda history (112k miles). Bones are good, just tatty paint, laquer peel and the starts of rust on one of the arches so got it straight into the body shop:
Arch cut out including the inner skin and replaced, rolled and bumper tabs relocated
Full respray in a toyota colour from the chr, compeltely dismantled window out job.
Smoothed front bumper, washers jets, honda badge and plate mount holes plastic welded out
thank you
The body shop seems to like the colour judging by their dent hammer! Car is now being reassembled after a few days of wet sanding and polishing. I am so excited about this colour.
All back and super pleased, tinted some more lights after my pictures below, and wheel spacers are on the way to tye me over till I upgrade the wheels.
I wont be driving too much for the next 30 days as i need to get the front end ppf'd.
Colour is very close to my s5 tucked in the back, i definately have a favourite colour.
Thank you, super pleased.
minor tweak now I have tinted the rear lights and popped them back on.
personal preference but i think it looks better against the bright paint
Color has grown on me. Too bad I'll never see it on the ground but there'd be no problem spotting it in a crowd.
Though headlight washers were required by MOT. Guess not. We don't have them here.

Thanks, i do love a good marmite colour.
Headlight washers are required , but checked with my usual mot guy and if they aren't fitted any more rather than broken he will pass it.

totally agree!
But they have been left because they are being cut out and replaced with brake ducts very soon, no point masking and fiddling when they are being cut out
