Small update:

I was able and fortunate enough to source a BNIB OEM lip. Only down side was it was in Silverstone.

I removed the "weather stripping" from the lip and send it off to paint.

Once it was back I installed new weather stripping from Honda.

Quite happy with the outcome.

Installed using the supplied OEM hardware.

I don't often feel the effects of FOMO. However, there are a few items/parts that have been stirring up those feelings lately as our beloved S2000s are getting on in age and more of the top tuning companies are slowly discontinuing the S2000 line of parts.

Spoon callipers, regardless of how much they improve the braking over other manufacturers, have always been one of those items that I have pined over and I worry they will be discontinued in the future with Spoon's focus turning to the FK8. With my first s2000, 10 years ago, I didn't have the funds or wheels specs to equip them. So when I saw they were stock at Go Tuning last month I jumped on them.

They won't be installed this season, ill be spending the winter collecting the supporting components and install in the spring.

Beatiful build. You had to roll and pull fender or just roll to fit the ce28’s?

A tight roll is sufficient (and rear tab relocation) with this EXACT setup.
As mentioned I have Origin offset bushings up front. Also the RE71Rs have a narrow tread for a 255. You also need a bit of negative camber.

Im also not slammed (around 25-1/4" ground to fender)

Small winter update.

Car has been in storage for 3 full months now. Going into withdrawal.

I was in the market for a hardtop this winter and was back and forth between Mugen and OEM. I came across a hardtop in the local classifieds that was for sale. I went and had a look and picked it up for a fair (Canadian market) price.

The top was in rough condition (for my OCD) and needed a once over. The top was originally yellow, then (poorly) painted silver and now needed to be painted in NFR to match my car. So I went about removing all of the trim, headliner and seals. I got the top down to the bare shell (mins the windshield) so it could be pained properly. The top was also missing a few rubber bumpers and things which I was still able to order through Honda. I also picked up proper hardtop strikers.

I worked some Shin-Etsu grease into all of the seals and gave all the plastic bits a while down with Aerospace 303

I took the shell to my local paint shop. He pulled a few denst that he found on the top and a larger impression that was on the "b" pillar. He completed the job in a couple weeks. I think he did a great job given the top's initial condition.

I've really been wanting an OEM NFR hardtop and this isn't helping.. Looking forward to seeing it installed!

Ya she's in good shape but far from perfect.
