I just got a reply from CCW, re: wheel bolts (mine are race wheels).

"Street Bolt - ARP 12pt Stainless Steel Bolt - Head of the bolt is shown as it's small enough to get a socket on and aesthetically nicer for street applications
Race Bolt - Grade 8 Cadmium Plated Bolt - Head of the bolt is too large for the face of the wheel so it is flipped as the nut is small enough for the face of the wheel."
Sounds good well I ask cause there is a guy with a gforce 4speed transmission that was set up an installed in a s2000 it is good 1000hp and he's asking 4500 which is a amazing deal
Just thought since your going so far why not all the way lol

Bobby - I can't argue about the price for the trans. It sure is a deal for somebody, But I'm not at that point just yet. While The car will have a welded roll bar and door bars, It will also have full interior and some semblance of comfort so I can drive it to/from track days, and occasionally for spirited mountain driving with the wife. $4.5k will finish a large portion of the build, so we'll see where I am in a few months.

I'm from the TR family as well. I loved TR6 but I ended up owning a TR7. Of course I would have rather owned a TR8. Your work is very interesting. Heresy though.

A couple updates on the chassis. The inner frame rails are done. Next, working on the driveshaft hoop and shock towers.
