From an outside prospective your exhaust sounded great Rico!

I see Tibor was there. Did he know that your car has his old car's bumper on it?
Who's Tibor? My bumper is not new from your old S? I'm lost. Please explain.
Haha, sorry for the confusion. He's the one behind your car at the Dragon. I bought my 08 GPW from him.

Are you sure? During the group drives, I sometimes can't even hear my car since some other cars are louder than mine.

The guy in the black long sleeve walking towards my car in the first picture is Tibor? Why did he sell it and buy another S?

Thank you. I actually like how your car is put together. But I'm not baller and brave enough to go with all the ASM aeroes. I am heavily leaning towards a set of red Volks because of your car.

Yup! Aside from a a bit of the franklin runs when the other louder ones were mixed in i could hear your note pretty clearly, all be it only when i was right behind you.

I haven't done much with the S2000 in the past couple of months. Work has been pretty busy also, so I haven't been as active on the site. Couldn't spare any funds with the cost of my bachelor party and the wedding coming up in a few days. I did manage to put in a new radiator (koyo) with new samco hoses and new valve cover. Oh and a new set of premium floor mats waiting to be installed. On the fence with selling the ASM floormats that's currently in the car.

I managed to get the S2000 into a couple of engagement photos. I had to "borrow" these for the time being (hence the watermark) as we've yet to sit down and select which ones to purchase. I can't believe how much these photos cost! In my mind, I'm just thinking...I could be modding the S!

Hopefully, I'll be able to buy the ASM hood and set of new Volk wheels at the end of the year.

The ASM hood is nice for weight savings (if you go carbon) and looks but it's not very functional otherwise. just a heads up. They even told me this at ASM lol. Although you could go all out and get their GT10 dry carbon hood which would be awesome

What about it wouldn't be functional? It will absolutely help vent out hot air coming out of the radiator.

compared to a similar hood, it doesn't allow for as much air flow. Their hood opening is quite small. I was talking to the guys at ASM about buying one and they said hoods like Mugen and Js offer far better cooling ability due to the amount of openings in them. The ASM vent is much more of a slit in comparison.

For clarity: I'm not against buying an ASM hood by any means. It's an absolutely beautiful piece. That being said, if I was really concerned about keeping the engine bay cool, I'd go Amuse or Mugen or spend a lot more and get the ASM GT10 hood like I was saying lol

congrats on the upcoming wedding sir!

personally, i would choose a center vent hood over the others. me engine temps run substantially lower than my friend (with the same vortech set up) and oem hood.
