I often see customs employees going through boxes like that to see what is inside, but your delivery shouldn't have gone through customs if it came from King. Good luck with the process.

Does anyone know if the Mugen rear wing (not the three piece version) uses the same holes as the CR wing?

The SS wing? It uses the outside holes near the edge of the trunk that the AP1 spoiler does. Nowhere close to the CR wing mount holes.

Thanks Steve. Yeah I just confirmed with Mr. Fish also. I guess I'll wind up with two sets of trunk/wings and possibly front bumper.

Looks like King motorsports is going to do a full refund so I'm relieved. I'm also now reconsidering the ASM cf hood since that's in stock. On another note, I'm thinking about joining the squared club by going with the Weds TC105 and running 255s around. From what I've read on the wheels/tires section, the new Bridgestone re-71r might be a better fit since it would run narrower than my current Z2s, so I can do less of a fender roll. Thoughts?

Would be a pretty nice setup and I've always been a fan of that wheel.

Small update. I got my refund from King Motorsports for the damaged Mugen cf hood. With the refund, I ordered the ASM cf hood. The Weds TC105 wheels should be delivered by the time I get home from work. Also placed my order for new tires to wrap these wheels. My dilemma now is which fenders to get (downforce frp, ASM frp, challenge cf). My intentions is to get a set of volks in the future that would benefit from the additional clearance.

Wheels came in. They look very close to the color of my volks ce28 that I had powder coated. Took a measurement with the spoon caliper template just to see how much it clears by.

One more weekend and the car comes out of storage. Hopefully no more store and temps steady in the 50s.

Picked up the tires mounted on the new wheels. More parts to come next week. Anyone know someone selling a Mugen carbon fiber ignition coil cover? If so, please let me know, thanks.

Took the car out of winter storage this morning. Had to put some air into the tires, hook the battery back up. Started up fine and went out for a spin. Yeah...I miss driving this rattler.

Looking forwards to putting on the new hood on Monday and going squared in two weeks.
