Gernby midpipe: $900 OBO

I've decided to part ways with my Gernby midpipe for a couple reasons:
1. I've gone S/C and it's not as vital in that application
2. After switching to stock mufflers with UK mod, it had a resonance at 3200 rpm that I didn't like.
3. I want it to be much easier to smog next time.

Although I got an original dingle from Gernby I now only have the midpipe with a flange to connect a stock exhaust. You will likely have to get some work done to hook up whatever mufflers you want.
I've only used it for a few thousand miles. Not driving the S much these days.

Note: there are some photos of the whole setup, but I am not selling the UK mod mufflers -- although I am willing to cut them back from the y-pipe if you want the y-pipe merge.

I’ve always been interested in this setup as it’s the best for mid range exhaust gains while keeping things quiet. I also hate the haste of CA smog though. With the flange, have you found an easy way to swap in the stock mid pipe and cat? If so, have the places hassled you for technically having a modified exhaust, even though mostly stock?

Sorry I missed your response. No I've never done smog with the Gernpipe on there. I couldn't imagine them hassling you for putting a flange in your exhaust tho!
