Default Another Tragic Story that happened in front of my house today..

Thought I post this here: May be a little gorey, but I think you guys should know this

So I got home today from school, and there were police cars blocking a part of the street in front of my house, at first I didn't think it was something big, but then my mom came back and told me what had happened. There was a young motorcyclist trying to pass the car in front of him, so he was trying to lane split I suppose, but what he didn't see was a big gardener truck backing up, and he crashed hard. The truck then moved foward, dragging the body with it. The young motorcyclist was killed, and I heard people sob. What is scary, is that when my dad picked me up, I always walk across the street, and before I crossed the street, I saw that motorcyclist zooming down the road. Well, just wanted to let you guys know so you guys will be careful out there.

Not a good day. I think more about the "other guy" when I ride. I hope I never do anything too stupid.

Ride safe.

Just one of many reasons why I've almost completely switched over to dirt bikes.

This may seem harsh but this is another example of the Darwinian aspects of riding, the careless are soon removed from the scene. All riders must remember that they are a major component of their fate. If you ride like an a$$ you will wind up loosing yours!

In that pic, it looks like the S2000 was rear-ended...if that's the case, there's not a whole lot you can do if the driver behind you is driving like an ass!
