Ignition Stuck in Lock
I have a 2006 CBR 600RR and it only has about 2k miles on it. No issues with the bike until now. I went out to the garage to take it for a spin, and when I tried to push down and turn the key out of the 'LOCK' position, it won't turn.
I've read countless posts about this problem, but no real resolve. I have the spare keys, they don't work either. All of the keys work on the gas tank and the trunk.
List of things I've tried:
1) wiggling the handlebars (whilst attempting to turn the key)
2) shooting air into the keyhole
3) WD-40 in the keyhole
I thought about removing the upper triple but I saw someone else mention that if it is locked, I cannot remove it. I dread dropping the forks anyways...
Mind you, this has been going on for a week. I keep thinking there is a shred of hope that I will walk out to the garage and it will unlock.
Any one have any advice?
Thanks.

Is this a spare key? One made by a locksmith. You may need to polish down rough edges with a steel brush on grinder.
Lube the lock and key with 3-in-one of some such lubricant. Be liberal with it. Have someone gently rock the handlebars back-&-forth. You try to turn key at the same time.
