A friend just bought one last summer. We went for an all day ride and I jumped on it for a couple miles. I am not sure what the model was called, but it was new, and a fuel injected 500, which I think is pretty much on all their models. It was $4k new.
It was light, slow but fun. He put a straight pipe on it and it is not that loud but sounds very cool and retro. Burbles and pops at every shift. He has taken it on a trip as far as 1000 miles from home. It drew onlookers everywhere we stopped that day.
The assembly quality was not great. The bike is reliable, sort of. When he first got it, lots of little things broke, but he said you carry basic tools and you had to put things back on and tighten down what had fallen off. Other than that now that he has pretty much retorqued the whole bike, it runs like a top.
Neat little cheap bike for those wanting a second toy in the stable that makes you feel like Indiana Jones.
