Default This car has a better shifter than the S2000

I don't know. No 911 or BMW M or anything I've tried comes even close. Your experience?

Wouldn't say it's BETTER, but I feel as if my Cayman's shift is pretty damn close...

Would still give the S2000 the nod though.

991 and Evora 400 are in the same league. There will be some difference due to extra HP of both cars. Shelby GT350 shifts mighty nice as well.

I suppose I agree with that. The S2000's is notchier and you can really feel the gears engage, but the Cayman's is pretty darn smooth.

Pretty amazing company for a car almost 20 years old that cost half or one-third of these.

I like the manual in my '95 NSX better than the one in my '03 S2000. It feels both tighter and smoother. Perhaps it is because it is "less crowded" with only five forward gears.

Don't get me wrong--they go down as the #1 and #2 transmissions in any car I have driven.

The NSX has 126k miles; the S2000 has 76k miles.
