I used to have a Honda 919, which I loved as a torquey bike with some sporting spirit. Now I'm looking at an older Triumph Speed/Street Triple, maybe a Ducati SR4, Maybe a Moto Guzzi Bellagio, but that gets into cafe territory a bit. I like the older designs and round headlights, so maybe an older Monster too.

Anything else I should be considering?

^^^ That thing is pretty cool, haven't seen that sample from Yamaha yet. It almost looks like a custom job on a bike that used to have a full faring? Its a different cool spin regardless on a custom Japanese cafe look.

I ended up looking at a BMW R Nine T as well, but I think when the time comes, I'll be looking for a 2008-2012 Street Triple.
