So this question was asked Saturday evening at dinner: "Why isn't there a fee for this event?" My answer was simply "because this is something we do for fun." This is basically how the BMT got started: Back in 2007, Jerome and I knew how much fun it was to drive our S2000s on the windy roads throughout the area. Then we thought of how much MORE fun it would be to share the experience with a handful of others. Never did we imagine that it would turn into what it is today. Kudos to Andy for keeping it going.

After thinking about the initial question a little more, I'd like to add my personal thought on the whole task of collecting money, keeping track of who paid and who hasn't, figuring out how much to charge, etc. - that does not sound like fun, so that could be considered part of the reason there isn't a fee. Lastly, if there was a fee, think of what that would do to our expectations as participants. While constructive criticism, suggestions for future events, and general feedback are seriously welcomed and appreciated, we're not trying to turn the BMT into an event like the Crescent Classic, Porsche Palooza, or Corvette Weekend.

It was great seeing everyone! Hope everyone made it home safe. Pix to follow sometime...

Marble GT. That is a really nice picture. Only thing that would have made it better was a red s2k. no seriously, looks amazing.

As others have said, though it can never be said enough, Thank You! This was an outstanding event and I am appreciative of all of the time and energy spent putting this event together. Only car people will spend hours driving to then spend a day driving, drive back home, and call it a good time. Definitely looking forward to the spring, and slightly envious of those that have this wonderful place as their back yard.

Let me add my thanks as well to Andy, Julie and all the rest of the organizers of this event. Well done! Thanks Dave for leading group 3 (bonus points for the really cool drive down the back roads of Eureka Springs!)
