18" Wheels + Tires fitment question

I'm looking at a more aggressive set up for my S.
I was thinking about moving my rear 18x8.5 +45 offset wheels to the front and run 225/40 R18, and go with a 18x9.5 +45 offset wheel for the back and run 255/35 R18 tires.
Today I went to Motorsport Techniques in Hayward, and they told me that I will probably rub with a 255/35 in the back, so they suggested a 245/40 for the back, which is something that didn't sound right to me.
Now my question is: am I gonna have to run a really ridiculous camber if I wanna stick with 255's in the back while having a 18x9.5 +45 offset wheel?
Also. All my fenders are rolled (front ones pulled too)

Try maxing out your camber. Did you talk to ken at Motorsport? He usually knows his stuff

Not sure if it was Ken. He seems to be the owner, Asian, on his 40's, with glasses.
I went there cause I had my alignment done over there and I liked how he worked a lot.

you should be fine, im running
17x8.5 +40 235/40/17 -1.7 camber
17x9 +40 255/40/17 -3.2 camber
and my ride height is pretty low

Last time I saw your car were you tucking tire? Seemed that low lol

you should be fine with 255's. my car is slammed with 18x9.5 et50 on 255's, rolled rears and about 3-3.2 camber and no rubbing at all.

I just texted the previous owner of my S and he said he was running 18x9.5 +38 with 255's in the back, so it looks like I'll be fine.

Be prepared to camber out along with roll fenders, relocated tabs perhaps and shaved bumper lip... Im about -2 or 3 on my rear camber, slightly lowered with 17x9 +42 on 255/40/17 and I still rub... It doesn't rub my fender just the bumper tab and bumper lip.. Take all your precaution so you only need to worry about it the first time.. I learned the hard way.. Had to have my tire custom shave my bumper lip and hit the bumper tab out the way.. Good luck

Roll the fenders. Never go with 245 in the back on 9.5 wheel! It's way too skinny!!! You wil spin out a lot
