Any recommendations for a good detail place

Ended up taking the car to Carzwerk and the guy was super patient and thorough. The car looked like it had been in the garage all these years. Also put a clear coat on top after the detail to keep the paint correction he did in place. Would highly recommend, he is in the Automall area in Fremont.

Unless I misunderstood the response I received from Jason at Carzwerk, they only do paint correction if you get ceramic pro as well. I asked for info regarding only paint correction and was told if I want a "basic detail" to go elsewhere.

A bit off topic but i love Ceramic Pro on my BRZ. I would be doing it on my S2k but the same guy is going to be doing a Raail Air Wrap on it instead.
Highly recommended coating though. Been on my car for a tad under a year and washing the car takes no time at all.

How much are y'all spending on that fancy ceramic stuff?
I see a bunch of BMW guys dropping $2-4k on those coatings... And they don't even last forever.

I think it depends on the company. I did Ceramic Pro which lasts forever. You can tell because it adds a good layer of Ceramic on top of the clear coat. I debadged my car after the coating and had to polish the uneven parts down.
I spent 1600$. And i'm really happy with it. I had a lady scrape my front bumper with her trailer and if not for the coating the paint would have been ruined. But instead it polished right out. Just think of it as another layer of super strong Clear Coat.
