Anyone have the UK mod I can listen to?
 
I was wondering if anyone in or near the South San Francisco area has the UK mod done with stock cat where I can have a listen in person. Having a difficult time choosing an aftermarket exhaust and would like to see if this is worth getting done saving some cash.

I used to have the UK mod but now have the HKS single with no cat. I can tell you that the UK Mod indeed sounds awesome at WOT and you get none of the drone and if off the throttle, as quiet as you want. My HKS single is 75mm and booms from startup. Since I had a tune done with this exhaust and no cat, I wanted the weight savings and extra power. If you don't need that, the UK mod will suit you fine with great sound when you want it.

I agree with Darkfalcon. I have an ap2 with UK mod done with 38mm bypass but i have a highflow cat on it. I am in the east bay area but if you're ever at one of our meets I would be more the happy to take you for a ride in my car.

I might have to take you up on that offer. Do cops ever look twice at you? I've been pulled over when I had a Greddy SE dual, but luckily the cop was dispatched a more serious call and got away with it.

Nope they don't. It is only loud when you're on it but when you're just driving normal it is pretty quiet. Also I pass sound at Laguna Seca on a 90db day with my set up.

I have the same set up. Perfectly quiet when normal, but sounds awesome when you open it up!

I'm the East Bay as well, if the OP is ever over here
