I'm in Mountain View, and all of the paint shops near me seem to charge 800+ just to paint a bumper. They want something like $1400 just to replace a front bumper.

I am not ballin' on insurance money so does anyone have recs for a local paint shop that can do a good color match? All I need is the paint, since I have already removed the bumper myself.

Maybe I'm naiive but I wasn't expecting to have to pay more than $300 for a front bumper spray.

If you don't mind a job where it's lightly sanded and painted over, Wu's Auto Body in SSF can do it. I had to remove the bumper myself but it saved me a bit of money for them to just paint my front bumper. It was around 350-400 I think.

for the s2000: $400 +$100 for a bumper repair(med crack somewhere in front), and repaint of bumper + lip, with a good warranty too(dont remember off my head). brought the car in with the bumper and lip on. about 2 years ago so it may be a little more now.
