Default Center Caps Stolen

Just for the record, parked at the San Jose Automation Parkway Costco for a quick grocery run. I was in there for maybe 30 mins, boom. Missing four caps. Whyyyy.

Sorry to read this. Why? 'Cuz these sell for $225 or so for a set of 4 on eBay depending on the model year and style. May be a useless theft as according to notes here by @hecash back in 2017 "the S2000 wheels have a 76.3mm center cap. Most Honda center caps are 69mm and other 58mm."

I have to remove my wheels to get the center caps off, not what I'd consider high risk of theft. Are (were) yours OEM? As noted these are available new in wrap on eBay.

Well that sucks. Not sure why they would steal center caps other than to just say they did. I remember when I was a kid people used to rip off the Mercedes hood emblems just to have them. Worse than center caps since it damaged the vehicle.

Well I assume these are factory wheels? And not a tracked car? On many wheels if you track the car with the center caps in and dont lose them on track, they will fall out at some point later. Heat plus wheel flexing both deforms and loosens them when driving on track. The ones in the factory wheels may not do it as bad though. Although odd to lose all 4 at once that way without someone just stealing them
