I still have my HKS single with ballade sports HFC installed. Not looking to install stock back on unless mandatory. I think everyone is just freaking out like crazy now, but it's not like anything has changed besides you getting fined immediately.
Although I do have other things that would get me pulled over:
- no front plate
- tint in front
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ , going to enjoy my car while I can. No point driving in fear.

Hey all, check it out. Found a petition for repeal. Not sure how legit these things are but worth a try...
I try to avoid a cop at a moments notice nowadays. I try to be alert but not always possible.

*knocking on wood*
My Subaru daily is waaaaaaaaay louder than the S2000. No one bats an eye. If you choose to risk going with an obviously loud exhaust, just don't drive like a d!(5. I have a coworker than has a friend in CHP. The officer himself drives an STI that is obviously not within sound compliance and he doesn't care about the sound law. Again, leaving your aftermarket exhaust on there is a risk if you choose that route.
