Default First Track Day at Thunderhill... Spun out at 100MPH but learned a lot...

Hey all,

I have put out an "artistic" montage of my first track experience last year. The video was edited for fun purposes

What happened? Did you let off before the turn?

Yea, I think I came in way too fast, and instinctively let go of gas.

It seemed like an odd place to spin out as it's a pretty solid turn. It looked like you let off as you were on the paint and bit too hard into the turn. I used to commute in my S even in the rain on summer tires and it's a habit to stay on the gas even when you slip just a bit. It's counter intuitive but once you remember the feel of the wheels gripping it's hard to forget it. Just takes constant practice. I'm a bit rusty myself.
