Fishing Meet @ Santa Cruz
 

Calling all fishermans, crabbers, and beach go'ers.
Richard and I have been talking in the past week about having a fishing trip in Santa Cruz. I'm not sure how many of you guys out there like fishing or crabbing; but we plan on having a fishing meet sometime in the next month.

We would be fishing off the docks of the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. The reason why I chose this location is because its a public area and fishing permits are not required. So all you would need to bring is your fishing pools and bait. If you don't like fishing, there are many other things to do as well like: boardwalk, games, rides, volleyball, and the beach. Parking is usually never a problem since there are many spaces there.

So please post thoughts or comments and Richard and I will start planning the date and time. A true fisherman usually go out as early as 3-4am to fish, but since a majority of you guys are on the Asian time, that won't work. Again, we are there just to kick it and have a good time. If we have enough people, we can get a game of volleyball at the beach too.

i'd probably be interested if the timing's right. contest for who can catch the most/biggest crabs (setting someone up for awesome joke)?
