good place to run/jog in SF

good place to run/jog in SF
wondering if you guys know of a good place to run/jog. preferrably grass, since i've heard grass is the best for your knees/joints. tried crissy fields, but the grass area is not too smooth.

On Sundays, they close part of Golden Gate Park down so that you can run freely through the park without getting run over by a car. 
I went last Sunday and it was quite nice... lots of soft grassy places to run. ^_^
