I know NCRC requires S2000s to pass the broomstick test, but how rigidly do they enforce this for the point-by group? I'd be driving my stock '05 with the top up so it wouldn't be too conspicuous.

haha we were talking about this at Opak, Blue. I just sold my set of "track wheels" but I might be able to scrounge up for a set by December. Last time, my car didn't pass sound (limit is 92dB, I believe I was at 108dB...) with my ASM 70mm.. but if I have the time to put the cat back on and have it retuned, I'll try to make it.

The track crew at Thunderhill was significantly more relaxed about this rule then the Buttonwillow workers. Several of us were called out on it at Buttonwillow (we all still drove), but I don't think anyone had issues at Thunderhill.

Yeah, I think I want to be able to do point bys, but has anyone here been to LS that will be going to this event, thats willing to go on one session with me? Just so I can get some advice (never been to LS) and I havent been to track since:

I went with VU Blue etc at BW - since i never had any ability to begin with, knocking off rust will be needed
