I'm guessing you have wide fenders in front and wide rear quarter panels.

for 17x8 wheels I would run 235/45/17 or 245/40/17 (not stretched tires)
for 17x9 wheels some people run 245/40/17 (stretched a little) or most people run 255/40/17

Your +5 offset is really low... I'm curious on how your car looks...

You might want to check here as well but without knowing more I don't think anyone will be able to answer your question correctly. A picture of your custom fenders would greatly help.

+5? That's some serious stuff right there. 17x8 &9 looks like rpf1 sizing. Is it +45? If so 225f/245 or 255 will work.

I've never seen +5et on an S2K...you must be running a widebody? If that was the case; I would think you might choose to run wider wheels with a higher offset?

Generally speaking with the widths you posted F/R, In my experience I would personally go with a

F:235/45/17 & R:255/40/17

However, typically you can go with some other combos like:

F: 215/24/17 & R: 245/40/17
F: 225/45/17 & R: 245/40/17
F: 225/45/17 & R: 255/50/17

Really depends on your setup; Mac pointed you out to the perfect forum to check out all of this information.

Widebody sky's the limit. If oem fenders look at this site to see how stretch would look like

All these people don't know what they are talking about... 205 front and 225 rear is where it's at, your car will handle like a dream, total canyon racer in the making.
